THE SHORT VERSION
We do not collect personal data. We do not track you. Your data stays on your device. That is the current state of Spiral AI, and we intend to keep things as simple as possible going forward.
DATA STORAGE
Spiral AI stores all user data — plays, practice plans, playbooks, team settings, progress — in your browser's localStorage. This data lives on your device. We do not have access to it, cannot read it, and do not transmit it anywhere.
ACCOUNTS
Spiral AI does not currently require or offer user accounts. No username, password, or personal information is needed to use the platform. When accounts are introduced for cloud sync and team features, this policy will be updated before launch.
COOKIES
We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party cookies. The only cookies that may be set are technical necessities for the site to function (such as session handling if/when accounts are added).
ANALYTICS
Spiral AI does not currently use any third-party analytics services. No Google Analytics, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting. If we add analytics in the future, it will be privacy-respecting and disclosed here.
EMAIL WAITLIST
If you join the email waitlist, your email address is currently stored in your browser's localStorage. It is not transmitted to a server. When we connect the waitlist to an email service (such as ConvertKit or Mailchimp), your email will be used only to notify you about Spiral AI updates and launch information. We will never sell, share, or use your email for unrelated marketing.
DATA SELLING
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share personal data with third parties. Period.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
When we add accounts, cloud sync, or payment processing, this privacy policy will be updated to reflect exactly what data we collect and how it is used. We will post a notice on the site when meaningful changes are made.
